Warning Description: Snow and Blowing Snow Advisory
Warning Date: 10:07 PM CST on February 25, 2008
WarningSum:...Snow And Blowing Snow Advisory Remains In Effect From 3 Am To
12 Pm Cst Tuesday...
Warning Message:Rain will mix and change over to snow early Tuesday morning. A
storm total snowfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected...with the
greatest amount falling across central Illinois. While the snow
will be light for the majority of the time...moderate to heavy
bursts of snow will be possible...especially toward daybreak. A
sustained northwest wind of 20 to 30 mph will gust to 40 mph
overnight and Tuesday morning. This strong wind will combine with
falling snow to locally reduce the visibility to a quarter mile or
less for brief periods overnight and Tuesday morning.
